Everything is Energy: Understanding Our Spiritual and Physical Existence

Updated: Oct 25

Let’s dive into the science of it to understand our true nature better. It may seem like a boring subject at first, but once you dig deeper, you'll realize how relevant it is to your very existence. Understanding ''what we are truly made of'' can transform how we perceive ourselves and the world around us.

''Everything'' is made up of energy. From the smallest particles, such as atoms, protons, electrons, neutrons, and quarks to the vastness of space in the entire universe. Energy is the fundamental building block of all that exists. This includes not only tangible objects like stars, planets, and living organisms but also intangible phenomena like light, sound, air, fire, and even thoughts and feelings. Energy also manifests in various forms, including kinetic, potential, thermal, electromagnetic, and nuclear energy, all of which are interconnecting and constantly changing from one form of energy to another, which creates and sustains the evolving universe we live in. Energy is also referred to as the life force or ''prana'' which flows through all living beings, creating a dynamic link between us and the universe.

It is the invisible thread that connects everything in the fabric of our existence.

Imagine our world as a sea of energy. In this vast ocean, every lifeform, everything around us, plants, trees, and animals, including our bodies, thoughts, and emotions, is made up of energy vibrating at different frequencies. This concept is key to both science and spirituality, showing how everything is truly connected.

Energy is used as a scientific term that parallels the concept of 'Spirit,' which is the 'very essence that animates and breathes life into all physical beings. The Source, our Creator, is made of pure infinite light and energy. In a way, the Big Bang theory is almost accurate. Think of God as a gigantic ball of energy or light. Desiring to experience existence, He decided to distribute Himself, spreading His energy across the universe He created. He burst forth His energy, and all matter—planets, stars, rocks, and living creatures—are little sparks of His light. We are these little sparks of light. Thus, each piece of matter and every creature created carries a part of His spirit, His energy.

Scientific Validation

The concept that everything is energy is not just a spiritual notion but also a scientific truth. Albert Einstein, one of the most influential scientists of the 20th century, formulated the equation 𝐸=𝑚𝑐2, which reveals the equivalence of energy (E) and mass (m), with 𝑐 representing the speed of light. This formula demonstrates that matter itself is a form of energy. According to this principle, all matter can be converted into energy and vice versa. It explains that everything in the universe, whether solid or intangible, is inherently connected through the interaction of energy and matter.

Quantum physics further supports this idea. Scientists like Max Planck, Niels Bohr, and Erwin Schrödinger have shown that particles at the quantum level do not exist as solid objects but rather as probability ''waves of energy''. This discovery reveals that the seemingly solid objects are, in essence, fluctuations of energy fields. Thus, science supports the spiritual understanding that everything in the universe is composed of ''energy''.

If we are energy beings, then how come we have a physical body?

This question explores the deep relationship between energy and matter. From both scientific and spiritual perspectives, our physical bodies are made up of the same energy that exists throughout the universe.

Einstein’s famous equation, 𝐸=𝑚𝑐2, shows that energy and matter are interchangeable. This means that the energy carrying our essence can take on a physical form. Our bodies, composed of cells and atoms, are essentially energy ''condensed'' into a solid state of matter.

We must understand that our physical bodies, though we are solid matter, are composed of cells and atoms. When you break it down further and further, there is literally ''nothing solid there''—just empty space. This means we are fundamentally made of energy, an invisible force that connects us to the universe. Embracing this understanding helps us see our true nature as beings of energy, showing how deeply everything in existence is connected.

From a spiritual standpoint, our physical solid body serves as a vessel for our spirit or energy, allowing us to experience and interact with the material world. This embodiment enables us to grow, learn, and evolve through tangible experiences and relationships.

While our true nature is energetic, our physical form provides a unique platform for our spiritual journey. It allows us to anchor our energy in the physical realm, bridging the gap between the seen and unseen, the physical and the spiritual.

Embracing this duality (physical and spiritual) helps us understand our place in the universe and the purpose of our existence on earth.

Energy Beings in Physical Form

As beings of energy, or light beings, we inhabit physical forms that emit and interact with vibrational frequencies. These frequencies are the energetic signatures of our thoughts, emotions, and actions. They shape the reality we experience, influencing our mental, emotional, and physical states.

Notice how different emotions affect your body and mind. Happiness and love can make you feel light and expansive, while anger and fear can cause tension and contraction. These feelings are manifestations of the vibrational frequencies we emit as well as absorb. Just as light can exist in different colors depending on its wavelength, our souls can exist in different states depending on our vibrational frequency.

The Role of Vibrational Frequencies

Understanding frequencies and vibrations is crucial for understanding our spiritual evolution. Our level of consciousness can rise or fall based on the frequency we resonate with. Higher frequencies are associated with states of love, peace, and enlightenment, while lower frequencies correlate with fear, anger, and despair. We will delve more into frequencies and vibrations on the next topics.

By becoming aware of our energetic vibrations, we can consciously work to elevate our frequency. This process involves aligning ourselves with higher states of being, fostering positive thoughts, emotions, and actions. Practices such as meditation, mindfulness, and energy healing can help us tune into higher frequencies, promoting spiritual growth and a deeper connection with the universe.

A Deeper Look

To truly understand the essence of energy, let's explore how it functions in our daily lives:

  1. Energy in Our Bodies Our physical bodies are not just composed of flesh and bone. They are complex networks of energy pathways, like a web connecting every cell and organ. These pathways are often referred to as meridians, energy centers or energy channels. Each pathway is linked to specific body functions and emotions, affecting our overall well-being. However, like any system that processes energy, our bodies can experience fatigue. The continuous flow of energy through these pathways can become depleted, like a burning fuel running low. Factors such as stress, poor nutrition, lack of exercise, and emotional strain can contribute to this depletion. When our energy pathways are exhausted, we may experience physical fatigue, mental fog, or emotional imbalance, which can ultimately lead to illnesses or weakening of the immune system. Chronic stress and unresolved emotional issues can show up as physical problems, harming our health. It's important to keep our energy balanced to avoid these issues and stay healthy. Fortunately, there are various ways to revitalize and nourish these energy pathways. Nourishing our bodies with wholesome food and hydrating with water provides essential nutrients and hydration to support optimal energy flow. Regular exercise helps to circulate energy throughout the body, promoting vitality and strength in these pathways. Meditation, breathwork, and yoga calm the mind and recharge our energy, helping us connect more deeply with our inner energy sources.

Grounding techniques, like walking barefoot on the ground or spending time in nature, help balance our energy with the Earth's. This practice helps release extra energy and makes us feel stable and rejuvenated. Additionally, holistic therapies like acupuncture and energy healing practices can help directly stimulate and balance our energy centers. By recognizing and working with these energy pathways and centers, we can improve our health in many ways—physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. This shows how closely our energy and physical bodies are connected, highlighting the holistic nature of our existence.

2. Energy in Our Thoughts Our thoughts are powerful energy forms that can shape our reality. Each thought carries its own vibrational frequency, and positive thoughts vibrate at higher frequencies. These high-frequency thoughts, such as those filled with love, gratitude, and optimism, attract positive experiences and outcomes into our lives, aligning us with abundance and joy. On the other hand, negative thoughts, such as those rooted in fear, anger, or doubt, vibrate at lower frequencies. These low-frequency thoughts can attract negative experiences, perpetuating a cycle of dissatisfaction and discontent. By cultivating a habit of positive thinking and mindfulness, we can raise our vibrational frequency and manifest a more fulfilling reality.

3. Energy in Our Emotions Emotions are energy in motion, flowing through us and significantly influencing our vibrational state. Positive emotions like happiness, love, and contentment elevate our energy, enhancing our overall well-being and attracting more positive experiences. Negative emotions, such as sadness, anger, and fear, can lower our vibrational frequency, potentially leading to physical and mental health issues if left unaddressed. It is crucial to process and release negative emotions healthily, through practices like journaling, meditation, or talking with a trusted friend or therapist. By acknowledging and releasing these emotions, we prevent them from ''stagnating'' within us and lowering our overall frequency, allowing for a more balanced and harmonious energy flow.

4. Energy in Our Actions Our actions are a direct reflection of our internal energy state. When we engage in acts of kindness, compassion, and generosity, we emit high-frequency energy that not only elevates our own vibrational state but also positively impacts those around us. These actions create a ripple effect, fostering a more balanced and fulfilling life for ourselves and others. Conversely, actions driven by negativity or selfishness emit low-frequency energy, which can contribute to conflict and dissatisfaction. By consciously choosing actions that align with higher vibrational states, we can create a positive and supportive environment, both for ourselves and our communities. Engaging in activities that promote well-being, such as kind gestures or simply expressing gratitude, can significantly enhance our vibrational frequency and overall life experience.

Embracing Our True Nature

Recognizing ourselves as energetic or spirit beings in a physical form opens up our self-awareness and allows us to understand that our true essence goes beyond the physical world. God created us beautifully and designed us intricately in His image, so we have to appreciate who we truly are. As beings made from His essence, we carry within us a divine spark that connects us to the Creator and all of creation. This profound understanding helps us realize that our existence is not just a random occurrence but a purposeful design by a loving Creator. Acknowledging this divine origin encourages us to honor our spiritual nature and live in a way that reflects the beauty and complexity with which we were made. This awareness also empowers us to take charge of our overall well-being, make better choices to raise our vibrations and nurture our energy. Appreciating our divine design helps us realize our worth and purpose, encouraging us to live more authentically.

It can be difficult to grasp the truth that everything is energy or spirit in nature. We must realize that not everyone has the opportunity to access this type of information. Many people are too busy trying to survive in this world, focusing on their immediate needs rather than exploring deeper existential truths. Not to mention, society often teaches us that our nature is purely physical and separate from the divine and the world around us, when in truth, we are all one and the same in nature. This gap in access to knowledge means many people do not fully understand our true nature as beings of energy.

For those of us fortunate enough to gain this insight and realization, it becomes both a privilege and a responsibility to set an example by embracing our true nature. By engaging in practices that nurture our spirit, we not only enhance our own well-being but also radiate a positive influence on those around us. This helps others recognize their own potential and encourages a collective shift towards greater awareness. Our elevated energy and balanced state can inspire and uplift others, even those who might not have the means or time to explore these concepts themselves.

Further, we can extend the ripple effect of positive energy, by also communicating these ideas in accessible and compassionate ways, we can help bridge the gap, providing insights to those who might benefit from them.

By recognizing that we are all connected and share the same energy, we can grow and understand together. As both learners and teachers, we can guide others, making the knowledge of our true nature more accessible and valued, contributing to a more enlightened and harmonious world.
